Over-current protection circuit arrangement

The circuit arrangement protects a switch arrangement (T2,T3) which controls a load (M) from over-currents and/or over-voltage. The switch arrangement is switched off if the current flowing though the switch arrangement and/or the voltage supplied to the switch arrangement exceeds a given upper threshold value. The switch arrangement is switched off even if the current flowing though the switch arrangement and/or the voltage supplied to the switch device exceeds a second lower threshold value for a period of time which exceeds a preset limit. The switch arrangement comprises pref. a first switch (T2) and a second switch (T3) connected in series with a resistance (R2), which are arranged between the supply current and/or voltage source and the load.
