The invention relates to a drive (1), specially for disk players, comprising a casing frame (3), in which a disk contact pressure device (60) and a play-back unit with a disk turntable that swings on a horizontal axis (S) are mounted, and in which disk holder (15) accommodating a disk (2) can be introduced. In order to enable an even lifting and lowering movement of the play-back unit (9) and compensate for inciding work tolerances, a motor-driven eccentric crank mechanism (32) has been foreseen, which is connected to an oscillating crank (51) placed on the play-back unit (9) to lift and lower the play-back unit (9) relative to the disk contact pressure device (60).
