The spring can be moved by a control lever working in conjunction with a link and having a rotary point fixed to the housing together with a mass centre of gravity into a release position for location on the brake drum or into an operating readiness position. The control lever has a guide (20) and a striking surface (19). The striking surface is provided with a stop surface (22) of a pawl (21) located on the rotary point (14) of the control lever (13) and loaded by a spring (26). At the free end (24) of the pawl a guide (25) is provided securing on a projection (11) of the brake lever (6). The brake lever in the area of the guide (20) of the control lever (13) has a curve (31).
