Method for increasing the sensitivity of a chemoluminescence test using aromatic compounds with amine and hydroxyl groups as intensifiers. This invention relates to a method designed to significantly increase the chemoluminescence reaction in the luminol-H2O2-peroxidase system comprising the use of compounds which intensify the emission of light produced by the luminol or other cyclic hydrazide in the presence of a peroxide and peroxidase, or conjugate of the latter, as a result of which the sensitivity of detection of components in the chemoluminescent reaction is increased. The aromatic compounds with amine and hydroxyl groups used as intensifiers for the chemoluminescent reaction are: ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, 4 hydroxyacetophenone, 7-hydroxy coumarin, 7-hydroxy-4 methyl coumarin, 4-hydroxybenzonitrile, phenyl acetate, 2- naphthyl acetate, 2-amino naphthalene, 5-aminoisoquinoline, 2-hydroxy-9-fluorenone.
