Feed table for sheet printer

The feed table has in parts of the table surface through openings (3) set with an incline for the suction air. The openings are punched into sheet metal plates (1) and the inclines are formed on the table surface by reforming the material. The incline includes an angle less than 45 degs. with the transport plane of the sheets. A length (L2) of the inclines can be a multiple larger than the thickness (D) of the metal plate (1). The length (L1) of the opening is less than the height (H) of the incline.
