Reinforced non-woven interlining used for the production of clothing

A longitudinal reinforced non-woven interlining (I) for clothing manufacture contains polymeric multi-filament yarn (II) bound between at least two layers of fleece material (III). Also claimed is a process for the production of (I) by: (i) laying (II) onto a layer of (III) that has been continuously produced from thermally consolidated polymeric fibres; (ii) covering (II) with another layer of (III); and (iii) thermally consolidating the resulting structure.
