The apparatus for producing moulds or mould parts includes a mould-making tool (1) consisting of a bottom tool (2) with multiple air outlets (5) and a top tool (4) with filling holes (6). It further includes a hood (10) which is placeable onto the top tool, and has a perforated bottom (30) for mould sand filling. This hood is provided with a tightly fitting top (12) with a compressed air supply connection (3) and with a bottom formed by a screen plate (14). The screen plate consists of a textile filter held between two perforated plates or grids.
