The sealing profile has a sealing zone (1.5,1.6) for sealing the transition to a lining part or similar limiting the opening. The profile on its outside facing the lining part has a hollow chamber running in the longitudinal direction. The outer chamber wall, in the longitudinal section intended for locating on the lining part, is provided with a slot (1.3) running in the longitudinal direction. In the slot, the longitudinal edge (2.1) of the lining part (2) is insertable, so that its wall areas adjacent and parallel to the slot locate in the form of sealing lips along the long edge of the lining part.
