<p>The screen printing fabric is formed with crossed over threads (12, 14) of a suitable plastic eg. polyamide. The threads are coated with a vacuum deposited or sputtered layer of metal (18) which is covered with an emulsion bearing layer of metal (22) in an electro-plating operation. For printing purposes the fabric is stretched between the members of a frame that has a tensioning bar.</p>
