PURPOSE:To obtain a new DNA useful for producing a growth hormone of fishes. CONSTITUTION:The objective DNA is capable of coding a growth hormone of fishes having a peptide sequence of the formula. The whole RNA is prepared from a salmon hypophysis, passed through an oligo(dT)cellulose column to separate a poly(A)RNA, which is then used as a template to synthesize a double- stranded DNA with a reverse transcriptase. |
