Collector, esp. flat collector for electrical machine

The collector has a collector body (12) with a flat surface (16) transverse w.r.t. the collector rotation axis and with a metal coating (13), pref. of copper, on which are formed collector segments (14) with connecting ends (18). A ceramic collector body and the metal coating are joined to each other by a frictional weld arrangement. The metal coating can be a stamped part and can have connecting ends in the plane of the flat surface.
