DISC BRAKE ARRANGEMENT

Disc brake arrangement comprising an adapter plate (1) designed to be fixed on an axle casing of a vehicle wheel axle and a support (6) securely mounted thereon of a brake caliper of floating type. The plate is made with semi-circular seats (8, 12) and the caliper support with cylindrical pins (11, 15) which are arranged so that the caliper support is held in place on the adapter plate by the force of gravity when the pins are received in their seats, the screw holes (7) for the mounting screws in the caliper support coinciding with corresponding screw holes (5) in the adapter plate.
