Thermoplastic sheet applicable in the manufacture of bags for the preservation of plant products which comprises mixing hydrated acid magnesium silicate 1 with shredded polymer film 2, mixing them in a stage 3 so as to permit the optional addition of dispersant or bactericidal additives 5 such as potassium permanganate in a subsequent melting and granulating stage 4, obtaining a film 6 to which can be added magnesium silicate with a large proportion of micronized carbon if this is intended for the absorption of odours. <IMAGE>
