PURPOSE:To enable the display of a screen showing the name of program information such as the names of music, etc., prior to reproducing the program information in practical use of the existing disk. CONSTITUTION:The name of program information (i) in each 1st format disk 2 is recorded in a 2nd format disk 4 by a control means (system controller) 22. Then, at the time of installing this disk player, etc., the name of program information (i) is transferred from the 2nd format disk 4 to a memory 23 to be stored. Prior to reproducing each 1st format disk 2, the name of program information (i) of the 1st format disk 2 concerned as an object to be reproduced is displayed in advance on a display means 20. Thus, by preparing only a min. number of 2nd format disks 4 without changing all of the 1st format disks 2, the names of program information (i) can be displayed in advance in reference to all the disks. |
