The cable winch (1) is mounted level with the working platform (4), and pulls the rope (2) in the direction (H). The rope passes through the body (5) which supports the endless belt (9), running on rollers (6-8). The rope is gripped between the endless belt and a second belt (10) which runs on rollers (11, 12) mounted in a frame (13) which is mounted to oscillate within the body, controlled by tensioners (14). The frame-mounted rollers run between the endless belt rollers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can handle ropes of various diameters such as fishing lines, trawl nets, otter ropes etc., with small floats attached, the spacing of the wheels preventing damage.
