PURPOSE:To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a transfer drum by providing a drum attaching and detaching mechanism which holds the transfer drum on a transfer unit detachably and a unit attaching and detaching mechanism which holds the whole transfer unit so that the unit can be put in and out of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The lock piece 93 of an operation lever 9 is unlocked to put the operation lever 9 in a free state and the operation lever 9 is fallen to this side before the setting position of the transfer drum 2. At this time, the transfer drum 2 is held where lock pins 72 and 82 provided to a swing plate 7 and a swing arm 8 abut on lock parts 61a and 62a of swing control bodies 61 and 62. In this state, the snap 73 of a fixed shaft 21 and the snap 91 of a support shaft 6 are removed and then the operation lever 9 and swing plate 7 are extracted axially in one body. Consequently, maintenance operation such as drum replacement and film replacement is performed efficiently in safety. |
