PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a control condition to the optimum according to a sheet material which is used and to obtain optimum image quality by storing the various kinds of parameters according to a bar code number and reading out and controlling the various kinds of parameters corresponding to the inputted bar code number. SOLUTION: Information peculiar to the various kinds of papers is stored in a data table 103 by being paired with the data of the bar code number. By a CPU 102, the data of of the bar code number stored in a bar code number storage circuit 104 is collated with the table 103. Then, the various kind of data is fetched from a place where they coincide with each other and outputted to a control panel 105 and an image forming control circuit 106. Based on the fetched data, a transfer power source 107, a separation power source 108, a fixing temperature control circuit 109 and the like are controlled by the control circuit 106. Then, an image is formed on the optimum control condition for the paper which is used. Besides, the content of the table 103 can be updated and the control condition can be also corrected from an external input interface 110. |
