PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a form for concrete and a molded article such as an interior material by using, e.g. waste polystyrene and waste paper as the starting material and bringing them into the state in which paper pieces impregnated with the thermoplastic resin and voids coexist and the paper pieces are bound with the resin. SOLUTION: A molded article in the state in which a large number of paper pieces (B) impregnated with a thermoplastic resin (A) and a large number of voids coexist randomly and component B is bound with component A is provided. Component A is waste (formed) polystyrene or vinyl chloride resin. Component B is waste paper cut into pieces having an edge of several mm to 10 and odd cm, a sludge of waste paper or a product prepared by opening waste paper, which are reclaimed materials. The resin-impregnated component A is made by, for example, a method comprising immersing component A in component B melted by heating or a method comprising immersing component A in a solution prepared by dissolving component B in an organic solvent, withdrawing component A and evaporating the solvent therefrom. The purpose molded article is obtained by, for example, a method wherein a group of the resin-impregnated paper pieces are leveled on a belt conveyor, sent to a rolling roller, and thermocompressed to form a platy product. |
