PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device and a water supply method capable of coping with the rise of an internal pressure acting when the water supply of an external part to pour water is stopped with simple and low-cost constitution without raising the pressure withstanding force of a water passing route. SOLUTION: One side of an excessive pressure relief valve 28 is connected to a bypass path 27d and the other side is connected to a pipe line 27a on the side of a bathtub 4 on the downstream side of a first three-way valve 21 in a circulation circuit. Even though it is the time of supplying the water from a water supply circuit to which a city water direct pressure is applied to a washing machine 3 or the time of supplying the water inside the bathtub 4 to which the discharge pressure of a pump 11 is applied through the circulation circuit to the washing machine 3, when a solenoid valve 30 on the side of the washing machine 3 is closed and the internal pressure inside a water supply route is to be raised by a water supply source pressure, passing water is discharged to the side of the pipe line 27a and the pressure inside the water supply route does not become higher than a prescribed pressure. |
