<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small, lightweight, low-cost current detector capable of detecting a current to be detected under insulation. CONSTITUTION:A shunt resistor 3 connected in parallel with the primary winding 5a of a transformer 5 is arranged, and a current i (t) to be measured of a main circuit 2 is fed to the parallel connection portion. The signal of the current to be detected appears on the secondary winding 5b electrically insulated from the main circuit 2 side, the impedance of the resistor 3 is made sufficiently smaller than that of the primary winding 5a, the power loss by the resistor 3 is small, and the current flowing in the primary winding 5a can be made small. The transformer 5 itself can be made small and lightweight, and no power feed is required for a detector.</p> |
