SYNCHRONIZING METHOD FOR INTRA-SATELLITE SWITCHING CDMA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a communication system without using any synchronizing system based on the ground over wide range by transmitting propagation delay to the transmitter of a subscriber on the ground and utilizing it for adjusting the timing of an up link CDMA code chip. SOLUTION: A signal on an access channel provides information for preparing a traffic channel between a subscriber transmitter 201 and a satellite 202. An access channel receiver unit is coupled to a control unit inside the satellite. This control unit sends a control signal to a code dividing switch 223. The code dividing switch connects an up link beam to a down link beam by switching the up link traffic channel of the up link beam to the down link beam having a direction common with a traffic channel included in that up link traffic channel.
