摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy losses, to lower the amount of cold water which is not heated, and to equalize the temperature distribution of warm water in a vessel by disposing a flat plate heater in the bottom portion of the vessel space. SOLUTION: A water supply port 1a is formed in the vessel bottom portion of a plastic water storage vessel 1, and a water delivery port 1b is also formed in the vessel top part thereof. In the water storage vessel 1, a flat plate ceramic heater 2 having a number of through holes 2a is disposed over the water supply port 1a and in the closer proximity to a bottom wall 1c of the water storage vessel 1, extending parallel to the bottom wall 1c. Hence, water is directly heated in the vessel, thereby reducing energy losses, and the large surface area of the flat plate heater decreases its watt density to relatively lower the surface temperature. Since the heater 2 is arranged in the bottom portion of the liquid heating vessel, the volume of the vessel space beneath the heater 2 is reduced to lessen the amount of cold water which is not heated. Moreover, the convection distribution is uniformly maintained above the heater 2 in heating so that the temperature distribution of warm water can be equalized in the vessel.</p>
