PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection implement which is of a cartridge type capable of injecting medicinal liquid, etc., by inserting a cartridge filled with the medicinal liquid, etc., into a holder having an injection needle at the front end and advancing the cartridge to needle the injection needle and prevents an erroneous injection of a large amt. of the medicinal liquid, etc., and dislodgment of a locking mechanism or part thereof when the injection needle is needled by pushing the piston rod of the cartridge. SOLUTION: This injection implement is provided with the releasable locking mechanism 21 which integrally advances the piston rod 15 and the cylindrical body 11 of the cartridge 10 without the movement of the piston rod 15 within the cylindrical body 11 by a piston 14 when the piston rod 15 is pushed. The piston 14 is driven to advance in the cylindrical body 11 to inject the medicinal liquid, etc., through the injection needle 5 when the locking mechanism 21 is released and the piston rod 15 is pushed by pushing an engaging part piece 24 so as to come into tight contact with the piston rod 15 at the time of inserting the injection needle 5 into the front end of the cylindrical body 11. The locking mechanism 21 is held at the piston rod 15 or the cylindrical body 11 even after the mechanism is released. |
