PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble such as baggage disorder when a baggage is loaded or unloaded, by outputting a stop command to a car when the car moves by a settle distance taken out by a settle distance selecting means. SOLUTION: When a button 4 in a car is pressed upward, the running distance of the car is set at a first set distance which is longer than a distance to the floor level to stop the car in a state where the car floor is higher than the landing floor by a predetermined value. When the button 4 in the car is pressed downward, the running distance of the car is set at a second set distance which is shorter than a distance to the landing floor to stop the car in a state where the car floor level is higher than the landing floor by a predetermined value. When a landing button 3 is pressed, if the car is moved upward, the running distance of the car is set at the second set distance to stop the car in a state where the car floor is lower than the landing floor by a predetermined value and, if the car is moved downward, the running distance of the car is set at the first set distance to stop the car in a state where the car floor is lower than the landing floor by a predetermined value. |
