PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid setting of scale value at every change of a indication mode and improve operation capability by selecting a map corresponding to the scale value set for each indication mode and indicating it. SOLUTION: When the self car position indication mode 12 of a controller 2 is selected in an operation part 3, a scale value for self car position indication mode set by a scale value setting means 10 in accordance with this mode is read from a scale memory 17 into an internal scale memory 15. A map corresponding to this scale factor is selected from a map information memory means 15, which is read in by a map read-in means 16 and indicated on the screen map of a display 4. Then, if scale value change takes place, the internal scale value is changed and self car position is indicated on the corresponding map. If necessary in mode change, the internal scale value is written on the scale for self car position mode of the scale memory 17 and the mode is terminated. Other mode is similarly executed. By this, a scale is set for each indication mode and so setting of scale value at every change of indication mode becomes unnecessary. |
