PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake hydraulic pressure control device which can apply a stable brake without worsening responsiveness of a spool in a hydraulic pressure control valve. SOLUTION: A brake hydraulic pressure control device is constituted by a master cylinder 2 generating a brake hydraulic pressure in accordance with a step-in amount of a brake pedal 1, fluid pressure sensor 3 detecting the brake hydraulic pressure to output a detection result as a brake hydraulic pressure signal Sb, controller 4 after obtaining a command current corresponding to the brake pressure from the brake hydraulic pressure signal Sb to overlap a triangular wave dither current with this command current output as an excitation current Im, hydraulic pressure control valve 9 opening/closing a flow path of an accumulator 5 and a wheel cylinder 28 and a proportional solenoid 10 driving a spool of the hydraulic pressure control valve 9 in accordance with the excitation current Im. Here, in the controller 4, amplitude of the dither current is controlled so as to prevent fluctuation of a wheel cylinder pressure of the wheel cylinder 28. |
