PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit light with power of expression with which the image received from musical tones and the image received from the light meet by perfomting the production by the light in a musical tones generator. SOLUTION: The light quantity, light colors and light emitting position of illumination are changed in accordance with musical tone parameters. Formed light data are respectively selected and synthesized by executing such conversion as sound volume envelope → light quantity (105), the envelope of a timbre filter →light color (108), sound volume (velocity) → light quantity (110), pitch →light emission position and light color (111), the time from the sound production →the light color and light quantity (112). The conversion is executed not only by the player's key touch but from the data, such as tone gaps, tempos and chords in automatic playing as well. A light emitting device 113 is formed of the array of blue, red and green light emitters or is formed of combinations of the color and black and white filters and fluorescent tubes driven by stepping motors. |
