POSITION MEASURING ANTENNA FITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a GPS antenna to be fitted to the upper part of a tree. SOLUTION: An antenna part 10, housing the GPS antenna is made eccentric by an eccentric plate 11 and supported by a supporting pole 12. Sliding connectors 14 and 16 can be fixed by thumbscrews 18 and 20 to an optional position in the axis direction of the supporting pole 12. Fastening tools 24 and 26 are fastened by respective thumbscrews 28 and 30 to a trunk nearly vertical to the vertex part of the tree 22. Cylinders 24c and 26c are projected in a vertical and horizontal direction at the external surfaces of the tools 24 and 26 to be inserted to cylinders 32 and 34 and fixed to optional positions by thumbscrews 32a and 34a. The other ends of the cylinders 32 and 34 are connected to the tools 14 and 16 by thumbscrews 36 and 38. A bob 42 can be suspended by an leveling string 40 from the side surface of the plate 11. The antenna part 10 is connected with an antenna cable 44 provided with a power feeding cable and a signal cable.
