<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity in the rolling of a thin material by decelerating a sheet speed on the outlet side of the finishing mill during a time when the joining part of a joining strip is positioned between the finishing mill and a strip shear, and increasing the sheet speed on the outlet side after the completion of cutting. SOLUTION: The detecting sensor of the joining part is arranged in a prescribed position between the finishing mill 7 and the strip shear 10. A speed command to the finishing mill 7 is decelerated and compensated by a controller according to a detected signal obtained by the sensor so that a cutting speed limit is satisfied (about 1200mpm). After the completion of the cutting, the speed command to the finishing mill 7 is accelerated and compensated by the controller according to the detected signal of the winding completion of a coil, and the sheet speed on the outlet side is reset to a maxim umspeed. Consequently, a rolling time is shortened and the productivity in the rolling of the thin material can be improved.</p> |
