PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone device which eliminates the need for a modem when ISDN and PHS are both used. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a digital line terminating device 1 which separates an information channel from an ISDN line, a digital ratio unit 6 which sends a speech signal to a PHS telephone set by radio and detects a call from a PHS telephone set, a signal processing part (terminal adapter 2, line control circuit 3, speech processing circuit 4, and data processing circuit 5) which mutually converts a speech signal for the information channel of ISDN and a speech signal for PHS so as to connect the terminating device 1 to the unit 6, and a control part 8 which connects the information channel of the terminating device 1 and the unit to each other so as to send a speech signal through the signal processing part when receiving the call from the unit 6 and when receiving a signal indicating termination from the signal processing part. |
