PURPOSE: To realize either lighting by the Koehler method, optimum red reflection lighting or combination of two ways of lighting by a simple means by constituting a switching means installed in the lighting beam route so as to image a lamp filament as a light source on an object plane of a patient to be observed. CONSTITUTION: A light source 1, a condenser system 2, a lighting visual field stop 3, optical conversion elements 6, 9 and 10, another lens 5, and a principal objective 7 are provided, and the lighting visual stop 3 is imaged on the object eye of the observed object eyes through the conversion elements 6, 9 and 10 and the lens 5. The switching means installed in the lighting beam route 19 images the lamp filament of the lighting sources 1 and 22 on the object eye of the observed object eyes. Here, the switching means has a slider 21, and the condenser system 2, the lighting visual field stop 3 and an additional light source are placed in the slider, and in switching the condenser system 2 and the lighting visual field stop 3 are removed from the lighting beam route 19, and the additional light source 22 is inserted in the region of the lighting visual field stop 3. |
