PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display characteristics and production yield by laminating a substrate with a hot-melt member and melting and solidifying hot-melt member to adhere a liquid crystal cell to the substrate with the hot-melt member. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal cell is carried by a carrying device 2a and mounted and fixed on a stage 3a. A hot-melt adhesive is applied by a coating device 4a as required on the principal plane of the liquid crystal cell on the stage 3a. Then the liquid crystal cell and a substrate are carried by carrying devices 2b and 2d, and the liquid crystal cell and the substrate are laminated with the hot-melt adhesive on a stage 3c. After the liquid crystal cell and the substrate are judged as in a good state, a stage 3d as a whole is carried to a processing part 11 by a carrying device 2f and the cell and the substrate are adhered by a roll member 9 on the stage 3d. Then the liquid crystal cell adhered with the substrate is carried as on the stage by a carrying device 2g. |
