The device prints an image of high quality with a thermal transfer head. The image data are input by lines; the heating elements are calculated in the thermal head; the energy of the heat elements are varied by various means regulating the heating time according to the location of the heating elements; the stored data are tone corrected and sent to thermal transfer head by a thermal head control means.
