PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an illumination light of an display element with backlight of an edge light system to have a large extinction rate without changing an electric circuit. SOLUTION: An illumination light adjustment device is provided with a light guide member 3b for making light from a light source 3a part incident to a side of one end part and guide the light to a display element 2 arranged in a front side, a dimmer member 5 arranged in a light path from the light source 3a part up to the display element including a light guide member 3b and variably controls a light quantity of the illumination light led to the display part 2, and an operation means 4 moving thereby the dimmer member 5 for performing a control operation of the illumination light. The dimer member 5 is arranged along the light source 3a part and an end face of the opposite side, and is a reflection plate which is freely turned so as to open/close the end face of the light guide member 3b and is a reflection plate to reflect the light in the light guide member 3d. |
