PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber adhesive capable of sufficiently vulcanizing and bonding to a textile material and good even in adhesion after heat aging and provide a method for bonding the textile material to an adherend rubber using the rubber adhesive. SOLUTION: This rubber adhesive good in vulcanizing and bonding to a textile material is obtained by adding at least (1/10) to (1/1000)mol organic peroxide and 1-30 pts.wt. at least one carboxyl-modified rubber, selected from a carboxylated isoprene rubber, a carboxylated styrene-butadiene rubber, a carboxylated nitrile rubber and a carboxylated hydrogenated nitrile rubber and having >=2 double bonds in the molecule, dissolving the resultant composition in an organic solvent and providing a rubber cement. |
