A dwell is provided at inner dead-centre by straight parts d, e, to give time for the ignition to be completed be for e commencement of expansion. Mixture may be compressed between the pistons, or the engine may work 'on the Diesel cycle. The inlet ports are arranged to close after the exhaust. |
