FIXING METHOD FOR WIRE BEHAVIOR MEASURING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the behavior of a wire accurately by providing each element conductor with a CT power supply core part and equalizing the number of the CT core parts to that of the wires for fixing a measuring unit thereby sustaining a horizontal state under an initial fixing state. SOLUTION: A detector 1 is secured to a spacer 4 connecting a plurality of wires and disposed in the diametral center of a bundle. A CT 2 is fixed to each element conductor 5 in a multiple conductor and supplies power to the detector 1 through a feeder cable 3. The number of CT core parts is equal to that of the wires for fixing a measuring unit and the CT core part is provided for each element conductor 5. Core of the CT 4 may be buried in a spacer clamp. According to the arrangement, the moment due to the weight of CT being generated in the torsional direction of the wire upon fixing the CT 4 to one wire of a multiple conductor is canceled by distributing the weight to respective element conductors 4. Consequently, a horizontal attitude can be sustained at the time of fixing the unit and the behavior of the wire can be measured accurately.
