<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve treatment efficiency and also to attain effective utilization and protection/maintenance of a treatment agent and to simplify maintenance and control of a device and a facility, and furthermore, to miniaturize the facility. SOLUTION: In a treating tank 3 in and from which liquid 2, an object to be treated, can be freely introduced and discharged, a rotary cylinder 5 including a treating agent 4 is provided, to constitute a liquid treating device 1. The treating tank 3 is provided with an introducing port 6 for the liquid 2 and a discharge port 7 for treated water. By opening and closing each of valves 8, 9, the water level can be arbitrarily adjusted to between a higher water level A and a lower water level B. The rotary cylinder 5 is constituted of a double cylinder part 12 provided with an inner cylinder 10 and an outer cylinder 11 both formed of a wire net, a cylindrical skirt part 13 provided successively below the double cylinder part 12, and a rotating shaft 14. The treating agent 4 is of such a cartridge type that a mesh case 15 is packed with pellets 16. And the higher water level is made in the order of the water level at which the whole rotary cylinder is almost submerged, and the lower water level is made in the order of the water level at which at least a part of or all the double cylinder part is exposed on the surface of the water.</p> |
