<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information processor which can have its function set more efficiently to process information without any mismatch between the function setting contents of the information processor connected to a computer and contents of an actual function that can be set on the computer. SOLUTION: For the function setting by the computer, setting items that the information processor should set prior to the processing of information are inquired (S3) and the inquiry result is stored. When the function setting is actually done, a setting screen (including the setting items) used to set an information processing function by the computer is generated (S6). Then the actual setting state of the setting items of the information processor is acquired (S7 and S8) and on the basis of the acquired actual setting state, items which should be changed in setting from the actual setting state are changed (S11), so that only the contents of the changed setting items are transmitted to the information processor (S14).</p> |
