PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyester fiber textile having a touch like silk or cashmere, capable of being dyed to a thick color and having improved feeling, stiffness and body by treating the surface of the textile containing polyester fiber in a specific condition to form crazes. SOLUTION: This polyester fiber textile is obtained by coating a treating liquid (having preferably 200-1500 poise viscosity) mixed with a constituent capable of decomposing or dissolving the polyester fiber on at least one surface of the textile containing a polyester fiber such as a modified cross-section fiber not only to reduce the cross section area of the polyester fiber brought into contact with the treating liquid but also to form a crazes and/or splits like fibrils and further, preferably, cutting the crazes and/or the splits like fibrils. Moreover, the separated part of the crazes and/or the splits like fibrils is preferably raised. |
