THE SPEEDY THERMAL TRANSFERING PRINTER

Disclosed is a high speed thermal transfer printer for video printing. The printer comprises a maximum data detector and a servo controller. The maximum data detector detects a gray scale data for printing which is maximum value of line image data. The servo controller controls the speed of printing according to the gray scale data from the maximum data detector. Thereby, the printing speed is proportional to the gray scale, so that both of printing quality and speed can be improved.
