<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink which contains lithium cobalt titanate as a pigment material and can develop the same cobalt blue as that of the ink which is packed in the writing implement and visible from the outside, when the ink is used for drawing. SOLUTION: This ink is used in a writing implement which has the ink container and the ink in the container is made visible from the outside. The water based pigment ink contains lithium cobalt titanate as a colorant. This lithium cobalt titanate is prepared by firing a mixture of titanium oxide, cobalt carbonate and lithium carbonate and is an inorganic sintered powder and is used preferably in an amount of 5-20wt.%. In addition, water is used as a medium in an amount of 40-95wt.% based on the whole ink. Thus, this ink can be expected to be excellent in its color visibility.</p> |
