PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming equipment which can form good images with good ion concentration and only a little fog without being influenced by environmental changes and at practical voltage by controlling the electrification of a toner just before used for image formation. SOLUTION: The percentage of a reverse-electrified toner is reduced and image force of a toner holding roller 14 and electrostatic force due to the application of ion voltage to the control electrode 4, applied to the toner 16, are balanced, and sufficient image density and low fogging are obtained, by adjusting the electrification level of the toner 16 in the range of -5 to -30μC/g, on the toner holding roller 14. |
