Disclosed is a method and apparatus to receive house data in state of mismatching preamble within a multi alarm receiver. The method comprises steps of sustaining, testing and detecting. In the sustaining step, a receiving part is sustained in a driving state without periodic operation if the first set code is not received during a time. In the testing step, receiving result for the second set code from the receiving part is tested. In the detecting step, the third set code is detected if the second set code is received.
