PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone device which enables a user to know which of a base station of a radio telephone set and fixed equipment connected to a public telephone line is calling when a radio telephone device can be connected to the both and automatically connect one when calling. SOLUTION: A control means 29 sends a call signal from a transmission part 9 and switches a switch means 21 to the side of a cordless telephone set. Then when an answer signal from the fixed equipment is detected through a reception part 10, the control means 29 displays the use of the cordless telephone set at a display means 27 and enables a communication with the telephone line thereafter. If the answer signal from the fixed equipment can not be detected through the reception part 10, the switch means 21 is switched to the side of the radio telephone set. Then a transmission part 2 is made to send a call signal to the base station of the radio telephone set, and the use of the radio telephone set is displayed at the display means 27. Then a communication through the radio telephone set becomes ready. |
