PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a driving part for a rotary polygon mirror. SOLUTION: A rotary polygon mirror 7 is directly abutted on the reference surface 4c of the rotor 4 which is integrated with the shaft 3, pressurized by a holding spring 8 and unified with the rotor 4. The rotor 4 is a plastic magnet superior in cutting performance, and is capable of improving flatness by cutting the reference surface 4c before the rotary polygon mirror 7 is assembled. Since there is no need of interposing a flange or the like between the rotary polygon mirror 7 and the rotor 4, the number of assembling parts and processes can be greatly reduced. |
