PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise and quick diagnosis of autoimmune disease, by using autoimmune disease diagnosis agent which applies an unique monoclonal antibody to protein having specified amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: Based on knowledge where protein inducing production of interferon-γin an immunocompetent cell is largely contained in a biological sample from a patient suffering autoimmune disease, it becomes clear that a biological specimen from a patient suffering autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis contains more protein than that from an ordinary person or another patient, and a quantity of the protein contained in the sample is mutually related to morbidity of the autoimmune disease. The diagnosis agent can analyze much samples at a time, requires only a few time and effort to analyze it, and provides high accurate analysis. Therefore, the diagnosis agent is very usable to analyze precisely and speedily analysis morbidity of the autoimmune disease.
