PURPOSE: To prevent the adverse influence of the extended part of a sheet to the effective part by sandwiching the extended resin from the effective part of the sheet between a pair of cooling rolls when the thermoplastic resin of a heat melted state is sandwiched between the rolls and molded in the sheet, and cutting it out. CONSTITUTION: The resin sheet 1 of heat melted state extruded in a sheet state from the T-die 2 of an extruder 1 is sandwiched between a first cooling roll 3 and a stamper roll (second cooling roll) 4. Thereafter, it is drawn to a third roll 5 while gradually cooling in the state in contact with the roll 4, and an uneven pre-format pattern shape for an optical information recording medium formed on the surface of the roll 4 is transferred. In this case, a cutting wire 11 is sandwiched between an extruded resin sheet 6 and the roll 4, and taken off to the roll 3 side. The extended part 12 of the sheet 6 is cut simultaneously or immediately after the resin is sandwiched. Thus, the adverse influence of the extended part of the sheet 6 to the effective part is prevented. |
