FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. having excellent pliability and calenderability and a low halogen content. CONSTITUTION: A flame-retardant resin compsn. comprises (A) 70-99wt.% propylene-α-olefin block copolymer wherein the ratio (η1 /η2 ) of the melt viscosityη1 as measured at a shear rate of 10<1> sec<-1> by the slit die method to the melt viscosityη2 as measured at a shear rate of 10<2> sec<-1> by the slit die method is 3.5 to 8, (B) 0.5-20wt.% chlorinated rubber polymer, and (C) 0.5-10wt.% antimony oxide [provided that (A)+(B)+(C)=100wt.%].
