PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently bend a latch member when removing an enclosure from a housing body, by fitting the latch member, engaging with the insulated enclosure body constituted separately, to a connector housing. SOLUTION: A cable 14 and a connector enclosure 20 are arranged in a straight line to cavities 80 accompanying a latch member 50 faced upward, and a signal contact, an earthing contact 18, and an end part are inserted into the cavities 80. Then the latch member 50 is depressed to a given position to be retained by moreover inserting the cable 14 and the enclosure 20. At that time, the protruded surface 62 of the latch member 50 is moved downward when the surface 62 engages with the outer edge of an insulated housing body 12, and the surface 62 is snappedly engaged by the elasticity of an elastic beam 56 to lock the enclosure 20 to the housing body 12. The enclosure 20 can be removed from the housing body 12 by depressing the surface 62 of the latch member 50 to remove the cable 14 and the enclosure 20 to an outside surface.
